As a healthcare entrepreneur, anthropologist, and design, strategy, and marketing professional—his passion is human engagement and consumer behavior. David's career spans nearly 30 years in the healthcare delivery and patient education spaces.

  BRIAN SHAKLEY, EVP AND PARTNER   Brian helps manage day-to-day operations, with a focus on client services and account management. He is also a photojournalist and ethnographic filmmaker at heart and contributes to LIFT’s insights and storytelling work in the field helping to uncover the human truths that inform brand and voice.

  IAN CHUANG, MD, MEDICAL ADVISOR OF-COUNSEL   Dr. Chuang comes to LIFT with an extensive background in applied healthcare informatics, especially in the areas of controlled medical terminology (CMT), knowledge representation, clinical decision support (CDS) and analytics. He is passionate about consumer decision support, patient experience, and the value of a human-centered design in healthcare.

Dr. Chuang comes to LIFT with an extensive background in applied healthcare informatics, especially in the areas of controlled medical terminology (CMT), knowledge representation, clinical decision support (CDS) and analytics. He is passionate about consumer decision support, patient experience, and the value of a human-centered design in healthcare.

He brings extensive knowledge of communications and insights to every client conversation. Morvan holds advanced degrees in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Pittsburgh and KEDGE Business School (Bordeaux) and has worked in the global pharma space since 2016.

She is an award-winning design professional with over 20 years strategic and marketing experience, and an adjunct professor of design at Southern Adventist University.

In this role, she functions as a cultural analyst to conduct applied anthropological research, providing insights and recommendations based on qualitative research. Signe obtained a bachelor's in anthropology from the University of Copenhagen and a master's in social and cultural anthropology & ethnology from La Faculté de Sciences Humaines et Sociales – Sorbonne.

Signe is LIFT's resident healthcare anthropologist in Europe. Jamie comes to LIFT with more than 30 years of experience as a creative director and brand strategist specializing in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

Matt specializes in the analysis and interpretation of consumer behavior and cultural lifestyle, and how this affects the purchase and use of various products and services. He holds a B.A. in Social Anthropology from Harvard College.

MATTHEW BRADLEY, VICE PRESIDENT - INSIGHTS

Matt is a healthcare anthropologist and health consumer research expert with more than 15 years of experience in qualitative health insights and ethnography. Matt specializes in the analysis and interpretation of consumer behavior and cultural lifestyle, and how this affects the purchase and use of various products and services. He holds a B.A. in Social Anthropology from Harvard College.

  KATIE CLEM, STRATEGIC ACCOUNT MANAGER   Katie works alongside clients, as well as the management and design teams, as a strategic thinker, problem solver, and project manager. She brings to LIFT extensive experience in education, content development, communications, and project management. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and has channeled her experience into a passion for creative solutions and innovative ideas.

She holds a B.A. in Public Writing from Auburn University and an M.A. in Technical Communication and Rhetoric from Texas Tech University.

Michelle is a content designer with a passion for leveraging her writing, research, advocacy, and design skills to create human-centered experiences for diverse audiences. She holds a B.A. in Public Writing from Auburn University and an M.A. in Technical Communication and Rhetoric from Texas Tech University.

  JEAN GUY BLAIS, PhD, PSYCHOMETRICIAN   Jean Guy's primary area of focuses in the use of measurement in social sciences and education. He comes to LIFT with extensive experience in statistical modeling and analysis, learning assessment, indictor identification, and research design. He is the main author or co-author of 135 papers and more than 20 published research reports. He earned his PhD from the University of Montreal, where he also earned his Master's in statistics and Bachelor's in mathematics.

Jean Guy's primary area of focuses in the use of measurement in social sciences and education. He comes to LIFT with extensive experience in statistical modeling and analysis, learning assessment, indictor identification, and research design. He is the main author or co-author of 135 papers and more than 20 published research reports. He earned his PhD from the University of Montreal, where he also earned his Master's in statistics and Bachelor's in mathematics.
