David is a healthcare entrepreneur, anthropologist, and design, strategy, and marketing professional—his passion is human engagement and consumer behavior. David's career spans nearly 30 years in the healthcare delivery and patient education spaces. David studied linguistics (a sub-study of anthropology) and was a member of the famed research study called Project Chantek, an ape language acquisition study at The Yerkes National Primate Research Center at Emory University.
vP of insights
Matt is a healthcare anthropologist and health consumer research expert with more than 15 years of experience in qualitative health insights and ethnography. Matt specializes in the analysis and interpretation of patient and stakeholder behavior. He is passionate about cultural lifestyle and how this affects healthcare decisions and processes. He holds a B.A. in Social Anthropology from Harvard College.
Katie is a seasoned account strategist and marketing design executive with experience in healthcare, education, and client services. She works in the life sciences and healthcare space supporting strategy and implementation of targeted brands. In addition to understanding the life sciences space, Katie is the senior account manager for one of the world’s largest patient advocacy organizations—serving as a strategist and patient advocate for the longest-running longitudinal studies in rheumatic diseases in America.
Phil is a design, strategy, and marketing executive serving LIFT’s business development and go-to-market vision. He is passionate about design thinking and how healthcare brands can better engage, educate, and empower patients and HCPs through the lens of design and design thinking. Phil has worked on translational IP from outside the US, as well as fresh brand programming for lifestyle brands in the life sciences space.
